Officially we are known and constituted as the “KwaZulu Natal Tourist Guides Association-eThekwini” or KZNTGA-e.

Overview
The Association was founded at the inaugural meeting on 17th of May 2004 to be a representative body for Tourist Guides, as was proposed by the then National Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism.Our members are local , regional, national and specialist guides also offering various other interest fields and foreign languages.
The association is part of the provincial body, the KwaZulu Natal Tourist Association through which we have links to the other tourist guide associations within the province and country.
We have direct contact to The Provincial Tourism Registrar and the Department of Economic Development and Tourism and other organisations such as AMAFA, Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife, Tourism KwaZulu Natal, Durban Tourism and the Durban Chamber of Commerce.
We are an association of Tourist Guides by Tourist Guides, we have a committee that runs the association but through our closed forum anyone can reach everyone within the association and anybody is welcome to make suggestions or leave comments via our contact us page on this site.
A number of interesting and fun events have been arranged in the past, these are for furthering our cause and for educational, fun and networking purposes. Any suggestions on educational and other events are most welcome.
